Kim Ramsey is an excellent therapist and counselor. She really listens, she really helped he organize my thoughts on some tough situations. Even when something isn't in her exact purview she acknowledges it but is willing to expand her thinking and comes back the following week after reading up rather than dismissing a feeling. I couldn't recommend her more.

Kim Ramsey at Circumference Counseling has made an incredible positive impact in my life. I had tried many types of therapy and had seen multiple therapists prior to Kim, but had never been able to find that right fit - that "click" feeling. Kim met me where I was from day one and has worked with me ever since. She took the time to get to know me as an individual, understand where I stood, and why. She regards me with compassion, professionalism, a genuine desire to help me, and a respect for my feelings in the moment. Her multifaceted, wide-reaching background and implementation of a diverse range of techniques (such as EMDR, talk therapy, and CBT skills) has helped me with an equally diverse background of experiences and needs. Kim has helped me process and overcome a variety of past trauma, helped me understand and cope with my dysfunctional and unhealthy family environment, helped me learn and implement skills for my anxiety and anxiety attacks, and more. I find that somehow, she always knows the right questions to ask and exactly where to delve to get me thinking, learning, and seeing things with a newfound profundity. Ive come extraordinarily far because of her help, and I am always grateful that I found her care.

Kim Ramsey has helped me and my family tremendously. She uses a mix of well researched, well regarded EMDR techniques along with CBT and other resources as they come up (think: life skill development, mental health suggestions for other members of my family, etc). She is always accessible - both in how she approaches complex therapy and in her flexibility and availability. I saw Kim Ramsey for EMDR work. She took the time to understand my past experiences & approached those traumatic experiences in a way that created a safe healing space that was most beneficial to my long term healing and growth. She helped me understand how my experiences impacted me and gave me a wide variety of self help tools that were practical for every day situations. She always took the time to understand where I was at in the stream of my healing & based her treatment from a safe, caring and professional manner. I highly recommend her.
