This place is the worst; as I stand in line I see a female employee being extremely rude to an elderly woman, then my interaction with another female worker who is also rude and dismissive was horrible . So its not just one employee, it seems like this location needs retraining on customer service. Also please dont lie about FedEx and UPS shipping prices to try and scare people off from using those services. I know theres competition, but its tasteless and fear-mongering to invoke panic and fear on someone who came to you for service.

Update for 2021 Unfortunately, I'm going to have to update my original review and recommend that folks mail their USPS packages elsewhere. I waited in line for around 10-15 minutes to mail a pre-paid, pre-boxed package, and was met with exasperation from the clerk when asking for a simple pickup scannot even a receipt, which they've stopped doingjust a scan, which takes all of 10 seconds to do. It was quite crowded when I was there, so perhaps having folks go elsewhere might be a good thing for everyone involved. Original Review This post office is just a stones throw away from where I live, and Ive relied on it to deliver a fair number of packages, both to friends and family as well as for selling items online. All have been processed promptly and delivered without issue. There are often customers filling out forms or boxing up items, but if your item is packed and prepaid, theyll often just call you over to drop it off at the counter. I can understand why some people are put off by the customer service theyve received. There are times where employees have been curt to me; however, there are also times where Ive had lovely conversations with the very same people, so I try not to take it personally.

First and last time I am going to be stepping foot in this usps . Never in my life have I been spoken to this rudely like and that too for no reason . No greeting by the person behind the counter . I said, Hi ! How are you today ?with a smile . My question was ignored and bounced right off. I was in return asked , What do you want ? In a rude grumpy tone . Cannot believe the manner in which I was asked this question and the way I was treated afterwards as well . It was all downhill. She refused to put a piece of tape on my package and made me purchase new tape which I did . She had a big fat roll of tape right next to her . I did not mind the fact that I had to tape the box , it was the exchange and the way I was spoken to that I have a problem with . This usps location needs a total haul over . Their management is to blame clearly as this has been going on for years per the other reviews and nothing is being done about this. Such a shame .
