Wait times are ridiculous! With zero explanation as to why. Multiple families come and go after arriving.

I almost only write positive reviews but my experience with Kids Eye Care of Maryland was very negative. First, my baby has a rare eye disorder requiring medication. We had questions regarding medication (if we should continue medication and dosing recommendations) and clinical recommendations which were not answered even after reaching out numerous times for over 1.5 months. We had an appointment in the office and followed up asking questions about medication recommendations; however, we were told that they could not answer my questions until I scheduled another appointment. So I scheduled another appointment and we were seen 1 month later; however, my questions were still not answered at this appointment. (Dr. Glaser saw me for 5 minutes and rushed me out the door because he was meeting someone else after me, expressing that unless I had a question about surgery, "it wasn't important".) I followed up several times after this second appointment asking about medication without receiving an answer. We later switched to another practice with a much more kind and professional provider. Second, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I had followed up multiple times over 1.5 months regarding our medication questions for my baby, and I always expressed my questions in a polite manner and waited a respectable amount of time before sending a follow-up. Not only were my questions not answered, but at one point, the office manager, Ms. Markita Miller, sent a very unprofessional email (clearly not intended for me) as a reply to my email, stating "Yes the women is nutty smfh". I could not believe the lack of professionalism.

Dr. Cromelin is awesome with my baby and she has taken vision care with her since she was in the NICU. Very kind, asks if you have any questions or concerns with explanations provided. Front reception is very professional, patient, and friendly. I would give the office 5 Stars but the Optical representative first asked if my daughter had Downs with my reply as yes, then quickly referred me to online sites for flexible frames, without even measuring the size flexible frames to appropriately purchase. This was discovered after going home with my baby, and seeing upon checkout, you had 3 options in selecting the measured sized frames. Why did she not do that initial as part of routine in Optical. Also, there was a wall selection of flexible frames in the office area in Optical. I called the office as this was an inconvenience to come back out in the winter cold with my baby as directed cause she didn't want to be bothered with her and not sure if it was due my baby having special needs as this is what I can only assume. I called to speak to the office manager to get a justification or what their process in Optical with babies and how I was processed inefficiently. She brushed it off a d also said I could come back in, in the cold, and no one took responsibility for the INCONVENIENCE. So, I finally found another site, went to MyEyeDr that was nearby a d they happily measured her, were kind to her, and their office staff in Germantown on Century Blvd are FABULOUS. So, they'll be filling her prescription once I get the frames.

Do not recommend of you want to improve your child's vision. If you just want to put glasses on your child that will do it in 1 seconds

We are very happy and have been going since our son was an infant. Would recommend this location to every parent.
