BAD FOR BUSINESS (non-performance, very poor customer service, negligent, dishonest) This feels like robbery I closed on my home last March. Due to MHHs negligence and poor planning, I had to complete my walkthrough on the same day of settlement just an hour before the Attorney arrived. One of the major issues noted (along with other things not settlement ready) was the DAMAGE to cabinets by Michael Harris staff. When we showed the damages to MHH project manager Bob, he made promises to rectify the matter. His solution at the time was to wipe down the gooey and oily substance that was placed all over the cabinets by his staff and to replace cabinet area that was scratched/dented up. He assured that he would be ordering the new cabinets that day however they would take a few weeks to come, also that he would ensure the substance on the cabinets was removed so that my brand new cabinets would be in the condition I purchased them. We proceeded with settlement under that agreement, as I came prepared to settle and was residing in another state at that time. The cabinets look terrible. Fast forward, Michael Harris Homes tried to resolve Issue under the Cabinet warranty, which is very dishonest and bad for business because they know that their staff damaged the cabinets during the building and home preparation process. Once the warranty company caught on to that, they shifted the responsibility back to MHH. They told me to stand by and they would get back with me for a resolution regarding my cabinets either replace or repair. When I follow up, I was advised that they will not be taking accountability for the brand new several thousand dollar cabinets that were damaged by MHH PRE SETTLEMENT! They completed reneged and refused to right THEIR WRONG! I disputed that decision and requested that this matter be forwarded to someone with higher authority and 1 year later this issue remains unresolved. Also, I would need another post to discuss the terrible customer service I received DURING the contract/building process! Unfortunately, my experience with Michael Harris was a very unpleasant one and this is consistent with each staff member I have encountered thus far.

Michael Harris homes are well built! I really enjoyed working with Jerry and Larry! They made the whole experience amazing! The responsiveness and professionalism is unmatched! Michael Harris homes really stands by their product and it shows!

Beautiful homes and great quality. I've been working with Megan at the Two Rivers community. She has been very patient and helpful. My wife and I really like the floor plans and it seems like the quality of the homes is very high.
