I visited this Ulta last week. Like all reviews I did noticed that someone came to ask me if I needed help immediately. But, unlike the other costumers I did welcome the help. Sana helped me out. She is fun and knowledgeable. She helped me upgrade my product selections according to my age and needs. I would have given them 5 stars but took out one star because their prices at store don't match the much cheaper online prices for some products.

Very disheartened by the other comments Ive seen, but wanted to shout out two WOC employees that helped me the other day. A young Indian woman and young light skin black woman were extremely helpful in pointing me to the best products that worked for my skin. Both went above and beyond to answer questions I hadnt even thought of yet. Love my products and those girls deserve a raise!

I will make the drive from Falls Chruch, VA to this Ulta location! Ive been going here for years to purchase my favorite beauty and skincare products as well as visit my hairdresser Maha who is AMAZING! She really makes me feel like I am catching up with an old friend every time I get my hair colored or cut. Shes so personable every visit and very informative of product knowledge. I always trust her judgement when it comes to what will work best for my hair. Her warm and eccentric personality makes my appointments so much more pleasant and I cant wait until I see her again :) All of the associates who have assisted me have always been warm and welcoming too! With a nice greet when I walk in and always giving me product recs. Ill be moving behind this location soon so I hope they wont get tired of seeing me more thank you Maha and everyone

reading the comment, I'm glad it wasn't just me. I felt like I was being watched which made me feel uncomfortable. I will never shop here again for the unpleasant shopping experience.

IF YOU ARE A FELLOW BLACK WOMAN, PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF THE RACISM AND AVOID COMING TO THIS STORE. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DESERVE OUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. If I could rate my experience with 0 stars, that would be more accurate. I have never been racially profiled so much in my LIFE! I came to this store yesterday and from the beginning, was stared and watched throughout my entire time there. I am a professional black woman, with a masters degree, who makes more than all of the associates in the store combined. I shouldnt even be compelled to say that, because that shouldnt matter, but my point is, I have no need or reason to steal. I paid close attention and could clearly see that I was being eyed and followed across every aisle. None of the WHITE customers in the store were being followed and harassed like me. I will NEVER come to this store again, and have actually decided to stop doing business with Ulta completey, as I have had poor experiences with Ulta stores on several other occasions as well. I am a Rouge member with SEPHORA, and would rather continue to spend my money there. I WILL be returning everything I purchased yesterday and warning everyone I know about the RACIST Ulta associates.
