Therapeutique Salon Spa

Therapeutique Salon & Spa is a great Salon, centrally located on Rockville Pike which offers tremendous customer service and highly skilled professional stylists. I went to see Tiana and she did a great natural twist style. She takes her time when working with clients and has an endless amount of knowledge when it comes to taking care of your natural hair. She also does great color and other natural styles. The salon has a new upscale look and makes you feel as if you are pampering yourself just walking in. The owner Lacy is extremely friendly and is always a welcoming presence. They also carry many salon quality products that will elevate the way that you take care of your hair. I will definitely be back soon and would reccomend to anyone looking for someone to take care of your hair and leave with a style you will love.

Shins facials are amazing. I have been getting facials from Shin since before my wedding in 2010. I moved away for a few years and am so happy to be back. Ive had many facials from others people but none are as good as Shin, totally worth the trek from Union Station. Highly recommend!

I visited Therapeutique as a 10 year naturalista. I have never colored or cut my hair (other than a trim) but it was time for one. I had a consultation with Melina and I am so happy I chose color. I had a hard time articulating what I wanted but she worked with me and I am so happy with the outcome! Any questions I asked, she responded with so much knowledge and even taught me a new way to take care of my curls. I thought I knew everything about my hair but I was proven wrong! The customer service is impeccable and I will forever be a client here and I highly recommend. Services: Hairstyling, Balayage

I was pleased with my brief experience meeting a stylist, but can only speak to the business end of the shop. I was directed to book through an app, and booked a valentines day special for $80 single process color and was required to post a $40 nonrefundable appointment deposit. Fine, no worries. However, upon getting to the shop at my appointment, I was told that what I actually booked was just roots so basically a touch up if you already have your hair colored the color you want. The stylist apologized for the confusion, said she didnt have time but could rebook me for the new service the following week, and told me my deposit would roll over to the new appointment. First of all, my credit card that I put the deposit onto was immediately and mysteriously charged an additional $80 with no explanation. Second of all, the new service she automatically booked me for in the app was for a haircut (which I specifically said I didnt want) and color costing $227. I went to cancel the new appointment in the app, both because I didnt want a haircut and because it was nearly 3x what I originally agreed to pay for color, but apparently if I cancelled this appointment, I would forfeit my original $40 deposit. How scammy is that. Thats literally illegal, its called Bait and Switch. They lured me in with a promise of a service at a lower price and then told me I had to pay way more money. Nobody answered the phone when I tried calling so now I have to dispute with my credit card. HOW ANNOYING!!
