    I absolutely love this salon. Not only are they friendly and professional, but they are also super clean. They sweep in between clients, and the bathrooms are immaculent! Best of all, I live my stylist Nury. I've been looking for someone with her expertise for a long time. She is a team player. I love that she listens to my thoughts about my hair, but if it's not good for me, she will not honor my request. She's creative, and she never rushes me. Thank you Nury Sharon

    They provide terrible customer service, treating customers differently on Google Reviews than they do over the phone. Their online reputation doesn't match the poor service experienced by customers who call in. It's clear they care more about looking good online than addressing real customer concerns.

    Mimi does an amazing job with curly hair! She has a passion for getting your hair just right and is very experienced stylist. She also blends color and highlights just right to cover my grays while keeping my hair looking natural and healthy. She cares about her clients and really wants you to look and feel your best. Ive been going to Mimi for years and will continue going to New Wave as long as she is there!

    I had a terrible experience at this salon. We went there for a special family event, but the hairstylist only used hairspray, and our updos fell apart before the event even started. We had to redo our hair ourselves after paying around $400. The manager was rude when my sister complained, suggesting we needed money. It made me sad since I brought my sister and mom to this salon, who were traveling from out of town for this event, and they had the worst experience. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Avoid this salon if possible. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment from this salon regarding the rudeness of their response when we lodged a complaint over the phone. Instead of understanding our concerns, they offered a partial refund and seemed to think we only cared about money. And I highly doubt I left a $50 tip unless they charged extra to cover it. If this salon needs proof of how bad my hair looked afterward, I can share some pictures. But what bothers me most is how differently they treated my complaint on Google compared to how the manager spoke to us on the phone. It shows a real lack of consistency and care for your customers.

Ms. Bagheri…We regret that you were not fully satisfied with your experience here at our salon. We are very proud of the reputation that we have built with our clients over the years, and that has been earned through solid customer service. We also feel like we made an honest attempt to address all of your concerns, including offering you a partial refund well after the date of your service. We scheduled a detailed consultation with you a two full weeks before your event on September the 9th. The exact prices for the services that you requested were directly quoted to you. You also brought in very specific pictures of what you wanted for your hair, and we made every effort to do exactly what you asked for. As you are aware, multiple hair pins and elastic bands were used, along with the spray to set and keep your hair in place when you left. As you were leaving the salon, neither of you made any mention of dissatisfaction with the work that was done for you, in fact you left a $50 tip for the stylist who worked with you. We then didn’t hear back from you for at least two weeks, maybe longer. When you did finally call back, there was absolutely no mention at all about your hair falling apart, or how it looked at your event. The only complaint that you had was about the price. You were then offered a partial refund sight unseen, but you still refused. We are sorry that you were not happy with your experience, but this negative review so far after your event seems misplaced considering everything that we have tried to do to accommodate you in the meantime.
