Inn at Huntingfield Creek

An idyllic inn with a warm, friendly environment. The owners were a delight to meet and most engaging! The manager was friendly and very helpful. Homely and restful. Rooms: Our cottage was very comfortable and well appointed.

We just had the perfect weekend away here and, we absolutely cannot wait to go back !!! Our cottage was so comfortable and, they thought of everything you could possibly need. It was wonderful ! The bed was so unbelievably comfy - oh my gosh !!! The owners were genuinely warm and gracious. You feel " at home " immediately ! I really enjoyed the library...a gorgeous room of books with a wine frig and another mini fridge of beers, water and sodas...very relaxing. Oh and yummy cookies ! They were so good ! The house and the grounds were beautifully decorated. We can't wait to see it in warmer weather. The icing on the cake for us were the 3 dogs that reside there. They just made it so special for us...they are sweet, friendly and they made it very difficult to leave. They were very affectionate & we just adored the attention from them. Thank you to Joanne & Jim for having created such a tranquil oasis for people. What you have created is very special ! You work hard at making it what it is and it definitely shows.

The location and place were beautiful. We would give this place a 4.7 out of 5 stars. The one breakfast we had there was excellent. The food at their place in town where we were provided vouchers was also very good. Because we were there off season, a nice discount was provided. The hosts were very friendly...especially their labs. Noteworthy details: Beautiful location featuring a dock to sit and watch sunsets while listening to the ducks and geese sing to their creator. The landscaping, even in the wet rainy winter month, was beautiful. Time and effort and care are greatly placed on the Inn. It was a wonderful place of solitude and rest.

Love the Inn at Huntingtonfield Creek. This is our third time staying there. The atmosphere is straight out beautiful. The grounds are huge and expansive. The cottages are comfortable and well kept. The staff was exceptional and my wife and I favorite part are their dogs. We come back every year and the dogs seem to remember us. Wouldn't change a thing. Rooms: Very comfortable and well done with good taste. Safety: Quiet, quaint, little town where everyone is friendly.
