Bamboo mobile tire

First, let me say I am not in the practice of posting negative business reviews, even when Ive had less-than-great experiences (check my other reviews if you dont believe me). If this situation is resolved, I will delete this. I caught a flat on my way home after hitting a pothole and sought a mobile service for repair/replacement, which is when I found Bamboo Tire. As others have noted, he was prompt - Mr. Ndam arrived in less than an hour after I called. Replacing the tire only took about 20-30 minutes. All seemed well. I did not drive the car again that day, but the next morning the tire was flat - totally empty. I assumed that this was because the wheel was damaged in addition to the tire when I hit the pothole, so I called a tow truck to have the car taken to a wheel shop. About an hour later, the wheel shop called to say my wheel was fine, but the new tire (for which I paid $300) had a large hole in the tread. They replaced the tire for me. I called Mr. ndam to report the issue. I was polite but told him the tire he put on my car was damaged. No sooner were those words out of my mouth that Mr. Ndam became highly combative, yelling at me that there was nothing wrong with the tire and asking me what I had done to damage it. It became clear right away that he was not going to listen to my issue nor try to resolve it. He said I should have called him first if there was a problem and not a wheel shop; I told him I was assuming in good faith that he had put a good tire on my car. Because of his demeanor, I told him I would be calling my bank to dispute the charge and get a refund. Thats where it stands. If I receive reconciliation from him, I will delete this review. But proceed with caution before calling this business.
