Working with this family was great! Their friendliness was impeccable, very personable. My project was to put together a pre-purchased 8x10 shed, 4x6 shed, 8x10 steel base, and build a 4x6 base. The work they did was good, and clean up was ok. There were some hitches, but they came back the next day to line some things up and finish the job. I was a little surprised of the price difference from the quote to the final estimate, but I agreed to it and it was still fairly reasonable. I was a bit dissapointed in some permanent imperfections during install, and how scratched up things were after cleaning the sheds myself. Because of their professionalism I would definitely recommend and use their services in the future.

Site DR MD put a 6x6 pressure treated frame and filled with gravel in my yard. It was 20 feet by 17 feet for the purpose of putting 2 sheds on the pad. Matt, his son, and crew were on time, very respectful, did grade A quality work, cleaned up and did what was in the contract and they got it right the FIRST time. It was a pleasure to have them do the work. Thanks again for GREAT work - Mike Hammond, Sr - Annapolis, MD

Very nice people to work with. Excellent and reasonabley priced efforts on my Maryland property. 5 star in 2018. Virginia was another matter. A few delays not caused by me put work months past forecast completion date. Also, there were a few cost overruns, but not egregious. Part of it was due to the illness of the owner. The principal problem for me was I lost months of Revenue (rent) in the process. Like Maryland, The Virginia work was performed to a very high standard though. 3+ star review in Virginia and 5 stars in Maryland .

Modified original review to stay with word limits: When the owner visited for a quote, he estimated a few wheel barrels of soil would be excavated to create a level shed pad and offered to use it to fill in low spots in my backyard. Once the excavation work was done there was much more soil than was estimated. As a result, much more dirt than I was expecting was spread throughout my backyard. See picture showing a 20'X15' area of loose dirt over what used to be grass. Next, in the process of driving the excavator over my yard, deep tire ruts were created. The attached pictures show the impact. In an ill-fated attempt to resolve the issue, topsoil was used to fill the ruts. In my side and backyard, sod was placed. The sod only covered some of placed topsoil (see pictures), leaving large areas of exposed topsoil where there used to be grass. In my font yard, no sod was placed and the attached picture shows the final product. The owner explained that sod was not needed and he placed grass seed that he claimed would start growing in about three weeks. I am posting this review about one month since the seed was planted and as you can the grass has not grown. I feel that all of this could have been avoided or mitigated by placing plywood on the path of the excavator. In response to MN Residentials comments: The response by MN Residential is simply unacceptable and I will not be silent while my personal character is put into question. While I can appreciate and support a businesss desire/right to respond to customer reviews, I feel that this response abused intended use of online review platforms by attacking my personal character. To state, Mr Franz has a real talent for exaggerating the degree and scope of his supposed wronging., further illustrates the lack of professionalism of MN Residential. The claim of extortion is unfounded. Though I withheld payment while the attempt to repair my yard was made, the payment was made immediately after the unsatisfactory repairs where completed. If I was truly trying to extort MN Residential they would still not have received payment as my yard is still in an unacceptable condition. At no point did I express my satisfaction with the work. In fact, after the sod was placed the crew left without speaking with me, I called the owner to ask if they had just left for lunch as I perceived the work to be incomplete. They did not return. The owner states, In hindsight, I probably should have postponed his work until dryer ground could be achieved. Within my review and his response, two alternative strategies for mitigating the damage to my property have been identified. The first option was offered by me (see above) related to laying plywood. The owners response offers another alternative, even a wheelbarrow will leave small ruts when run over the same area many, many times. Wheel barrow ruts would be easier to repair than those left by the equipment used. Note that there is a direct path from my curb that would avoid any contact with grass as it would use my concrete driveway and brick pathway that lead directly to the location of the shed pad. I used to work for a professional landing scaping company. An MO that I learned in that position was to leave a project site in better condition than when you started. The only difference should be the work/improvements that you were hired to do. A recommendation for MN Residential is to adopt this MO and ask themselves at the completion of each project, Would I be proud enough of my work to put a MN Residential Services sign in my clients yard and post pictures of the project on the company website? If not, then you should make an real effort to resolve the situation (not just spreading topsoil, sodding some of impacted areas of my yard, and seeding other portions with the expectation of germination in December) or be prepared to professionally explain yourself without blaming a paying customer for damages caused by your own poor planning and execution.
