John and his crew did an excellent job. Wish I had known about his services - and talents - years ago. Often, painters take shortcuts, but John's crew does the right prep and execution. John solved problems with our front door that has bedeviled us for years. Smart guy, great to work with.

One word says it all about John Rabner and the quality of the work his company provided me-- OUTSTANDING. My old and earthquake damaged house needed a number of things done to it-- primarily, repair numerous cracks in plaster walls and ceilings and paint them, replace and paint railings and roof posts for two porches and stairs from them to patio, replace three storm doors-- and fixing various unexpected problems that came up in doing them. John's advice on all these things was excellent and, coupled with both his and his employees excellent craftsmanship, gave me a finished job that was better than I had expected.

First Choice Painting and Carpentry is my first and usually my only choice for almost all of my home improvement or maintenance issue. Remodeling, painting, power washing, they get it done and done well. I have engaged John's company for interior and exterior house painting, sometimes involving fairly major drywall repair, in one instance extending to reroofing and flashing improvements over most of a large roof. In another project FC built a new laundry off the main floor kitchen extending into a portion of the garage. In another, FC completly remodeled a hallway bathroom. The tile work in the shower and flooring is exquisitely done. Prior to working on my home I engaged FC in two meeting room renovation projects at a local church. This involved installing new ceilings together with modern lighting as well as painting walls, trim etc. There were many compliments from parishoners who frequented the spaces. I hired these guys to replace a window and some rotted wood by the same window. I was very happy with their knowledge and professionalism! They did such a great job, I asked them to paint the entire exterior of my house. I highly recommend First Choice Painting. Thanks again
