I contacted David at DC Concrete to take a look at repairing a concrete aisle way and tack room in a horse barn. The original mason poured it incorrectly. After just a couple weeks with no traffic on it yet it was cracking and breaking. The original mason refused to address any repairs and abandoned the project.
David was very thorough with his inspection and gave us several options but ultimately suggested redoing the entire aisle way. He made the correction seamless and promptly ripped up the old cracked and broken concrete, working around horse stalls and tack room walls and had the concrete aisle way and tack room floor repoured in a couple days. The difference in quality was immediately evident and the aisle way was beautiful.
While David was there we asked him to create a parking pad out front for my horse trailer. He laid down a thick pad of millings and even placed a pipe in our swale to create a bridge for easy access from the driveway to the barn.
We also asked him to help us pack our horse stalls with stone dust and grade and lay stone dust around the exterior of the barn for run off.
We are extremely happy with all of his work. He will be our first phone call for any additional driveway, concrete, or landscape work.
