I became the Power of Attorney for an 88 year old family friend who has no living relatives and still resided in my home town, a little over one hour away from my home now, but was moved into a nursing home. I moved him to a nursing home in the town I live in now and was faced with the reality he would never return to his house. The house was in need of repairs before I could list it with a realtor, which were adding up to be very costly, and the bills from the nursing home were beginning to pile up. I had a house I couldnt afford to sell and nursing home bills he couldnt afford to pay. Thats when I found Jon, he offered to purchase the house As Is for a very fair price and in a timely manner.
