I went to this community with my neice to look at an apartment for her. I was impressed with the property everything was very pretty, clean and welcoming. Cindy showed us an apartment and she was so nice! I think my neice is going to apply here!

First let me start by saying that Volterra looks the same online as it does in person! I called on my lunch break to schedule a last-minute tour and Cindy was more than happy to accommodate me. I went to the wrong door when I arrived ( they have a lot of doors lol) but Cindy must've noticed that I was lost because she came outside to find and greet me! I told her that I wasn't sure when or if I was really going to move because I was thinking about selling my house. Either way she showed me around as if I was moving next week. Long story short, the property and apartments are really nice. If I do sell my home I will definitely be back!

Ill be relocating this spring and wanted to weigh my options. So far this is the most beautiful place Ive seen. Im looking to get a 1 Br w/ an office space and they have a similar style. The apartment was gorgeous with modern/updates to the kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are spacious and the closet was nice size as well. Cindi, was a pleasure very upbeat and super nice! She was really a great help, l had a lot of questions and she was able to answer them all. Im excited for my transition and hope to be moved in by April.

TLDR: Look up The Estates on google and read their reviews very carefully. The Estates and Volterra are the same property. It just got rebranded. Dont make the same mistake I did. Gather all your information and do your research before you make the wrong decision to move into these apartments. Also pay close attention to the reviews that are detailed and not the ones where people are talking about how they liked the tour of the property. I liked the tour too and thats how I got hoodwinked into signing a lease. Update: 1/13/2024 I first posted this review in the beginning of January. They responded to my review but not my countless emails asking them to deal with these issues. I emailed management and customer service. Their response below is only to appease potential renters so they can look like they actually care. They do not. Update: 2/6/2024 My car was wrongfully towed from the complex. Didnt think things could get any worse but they sure can! I wanna start off by saying that my parking sticker fell off my windshield & I didnt notice. However, why would the leasing office take my vehicle information & license plates and not give it to the towing company to let them know what vehicles belong to the apartment complex and which ones dont belong. There were 3 vehicles with no parking permits on the property that werent towed. One vehicle was actually parked on a handicapped parking spot with NO handicap sticker or parking permit. Move here at your own risk because this place has genuinely made me so depressed haha :) The original review: Only been here 2 months. I am having the WORST time and this is my first ever apartment. I feel like crying almost every other week because of how much trouble I have run into. I made such a terrible decision. 1.) I have filed 4 noise complaints against my upstairs neighbors because they keep throwing really loud parties. Management WILL NOT do anything to stop them and they wont help me. I wish I could attach videos so you can see how bad it is (I am still shocked that people this inconsiderate exist in the world). Even my college classmates never played music THIS loud. Thats how bad these people are. I had to leave my apartment each time cause the music and noise is so bad it gives me terrible headaches. I dont even feel safe and at home in an apartment I pay for! Just gross. And my cat literally hides during these grueling moments because she is so terrified and doesnt know whats going on. My poor baby :( 2.) Didnt have hot water for two weeks due to a water leak. The water would be hot for one or two days then I wont have hot water for another 2 days. I had to get my water heater fixed not one, not two but four times. 3.) The insulation is the WORST. My apartment is constantly cold. I have to put it at 74 degrees just to feel warm. 4.) Someone stole my package with my prescription eye glasses. I need glasses to see so that was a terrible end to my year. 5.) I found out that these apartments have been rebranded 2 or 3 times because they used to have really bad reviews. I wish I saw those reviews before I signed my lease. 6.) They dont include any utilities in the rent. And the floors are not insulated so if you are not on the top floor you are doomed. The floors creak so bad you would think Michael Jackson was doing the moonwalk all night. The amount I pay in rent is not worth it honestly. I really think I made a terrible decision. I was misled that this was a quiet neighborhood and frankly some of the things they have put me through seem illegal according to Maryland tenant law. If you are looking for your first apartment, dont move here. Especially if you are a working professional who needs peace and quiet after a long day of work. This place only pretends to be quiet. I hope to move as soon as my lease is over. Also my bathroom wall has this random tape that was painted over it. Thats when I knew the renovations done were so sloppy. This is not worth it.
