Doncaster Village Apartments

Harassed by another tenant they did nothing! Over $100 worth of packages stolen! They have no discretion when youre late on rent! They literally post a notice in the entrance for everyone to see others personal information. Whats really setting me over the edge is the fact that Im seeing mice now on the floor that my 1 year old daughter crawls all over. For the money I pay its unacceptable.

The negative: I tried for 4 years. Pool unkept by hired staff. Personally have seen hair weaves and a tampon in the water. New gym installed is instead a room with equipment in it. No air flow and no way to kick up the fans. For all 4 years maintenance has come and patched the same hole above my shower never fixing the issue. Four year later I still have a big unsightly molded square in the ceiling. Three times my apartment has flooded. The carpet sliced and diced to dry underneath, never replacing. Snow removal is minimal at best. When someone is evicted their items remain out front for days. The residents have changed. Loud arguing people in parking lots, at the pool. Individuals with zero class. The people working in the office really have it made. They think your requests are a joke. No professionalism whatsoever. The positive? You get to see deer on the property.

A relative lives here, and I give this 5 star rating because the management seems to take complaints seriously (which is rare these days). The grounds are BEAUTIFUL with lots of green spaces and trees, and the pool and gym are rarely busy and pretty nice! All calls for maintenance requests are promptly addressed. This place is a hidden gem, AND the rates are decent!

This is not the best community to live in. As a resident for 3 years now ... I am dealing with several issues especially this year since the beginning of summer. 1- The presences of insects and Mice in a good number .We live in the ground floor which makes it worse. I have reported the issues to the community administration. Different technicians came to check , put some glue and another liquid product behind the fridge and the dish washer but this didn't solve the problem. 2- When it rains,the water comes into our apartment from the balcony. 3- Recently, someone tried to steal my Hundai car from the parking lot!!!! They opened the back window door and caused damage. I reported the incident both to the police and the office . This is just to let you know and for those out there who are considering moving to be aware and knowledgeable.
