        1st time here in national harbor. Went here for dinner. 1st Italian restaurant that I've been too where it didn't smell of garlic. You know what I mean. You go to an Italian restaurant and as soon as you go through the door you wonder what smells so good. This place doesn't have that smell. I had the lemon lavender drop drink while my husband had the red zinfandel. We had the garlic bread that was served hot from the oven but had more of a parmesan flavor than garlic. I had the shrimp scampi, and my husband had the chicken parm. We both liked our meals. We ended with the cheesecake for me and the carrot cake for my husband. He said it was dry. Our waiter was great. He was so friendly and when he found out it was our 36th anniversary he brought us a complementary glass of champagne. We thought that was so nice.
