My husband brought me to The Hobbit for my 50th Birthday dinner last night. Vern was our server. He was attentive and very nice. We had baked Oysters for our appetizer. They were phenomenal. Our cocktails were all amazing. But the food, oh my, absolutely delicious! Short rib for the husband, the blackened filet for me. Ive had many fillets in my 50 years. The fillet I had last night was the best that Ive ever had. Perfection! My husband tried it and also agreed. Positive we will return again.

Expressing Martini, Smaug (spicy margarita) and a awesome vegan and vegetarian entrees. Not just options. And waitstaff that were truly awesome. And the view is to die for. What a sunset. I just had to add, were back here after they just open for the season, as if they couldnt get any better, they even top the last time we were here. All the food is to just die for, not to mention the espresso martinis keep getting better with each one you have, grin. Vegetarian options: Vegan entrees.

Just left dining at the Hobbit and could not resist but to write a review about my wonderful experience. This restaurant is amazing! When we arrived, the doors were opened for us to enter the restaurant with warm welcoming smiles. Entering the main dining room always puts big smiles on our faces as we experience an amazing view of the bay, watching the sun as it goes down and experiencing a very open atmosphere due to floor to ceiling windows throughout the restaurant. The view is only exceeded by the amazing staff and food presentations. Don't miss the fried green tomatoes. They are wonderfully prepared and topped with delicious and fresh lump crabmeat. The Caesar salad was better than any caesar I had in Italy. The Hobbit makes their own croutons and they truly make the salad even more special. We both had the lollipop lambchops and they were perfectly grilled seasoned with a taste of sweet potato. The menu is truly special from fresh fish to meats to vegetarian choices but the crabcakes truly reign. They are all lump with no filler and they reign as the best crab cakes we have ever had. Dessert is an extravaganza. There is a cheesecake but extremely light that finishes the meal perfectly. The Hobbit stands in our mind as the best restaurant in Ocean City for fine dining. Cant wait to return

First time dining at The Hobbit. Me and my friends decided to try for a birthday celebration. Great vibe and environment. The view was absolutely amazing. We get there at 7pm on Monday and were sat shortly. Incredible sunset view. The best of it was the food, drinks and service. Luke took care of us with patient and a smile always, making sure that we had enough time to look at the menu and to get some recommendations. I got three cocktails of the house and glass of wine. All of them balanced, with great presentation a mix of flavor. I tried Lamb chops from appetizers and duck breast for entree. Temperature were on point, the texture of every side were complementing perfectly to the flavor of the meat. Food got to the table on time and never missing an item. We got dessert also with a little candle for my friend birthday and desserts also on point. Its so hard to find a place that its 10/10 in everything, so glad that I find a new spot. Highly recommended.
