The Lankford Hotel

Really disappointed. Tried to call to book a room. When calling you no longer get the front desk. Very impersonable. I told them I wanted either the Crane or Seahawk (which are the only rooms I have booked for years) and they tell me there are no such rooms. (yet it is on the website too) Asked about the remodeling of the rooms and lobby area and they said they are not sure. Asked to speak to the front desk or the manager and was told that can't be done. This used to be such a family friendly warm motel and I so wish the old owners were back. Especially Mary and Sarah. Guess we will not be staying here ever again. 15 plus years of memories end. Bummer.

Really enjoyed our stay! I havent been back to Ocean City for over a dozen years. Furniture is dated but well kept compared to other locations. For me the nostalgia of it being a bit dated is a positive! Our room was clean and parking was fairly straightforward. We stayed two nights and are looking forward to booking again here this upcoming year! There was a public use porch with rocking chairs we took advantage of one of the evenings (not open 24/7 but pretty late!).

They need to update the pictures of place where out dated front porch not what it showed. Rocking chairs gone. Windows very dirty not updated. Location great staff and house keeper very helpful friendly. Coffee prices awful have never stayed where I had to buy a cup of coffee in morning.
