Nina's Revenge Sportfishing

Boat was trashed. A/C, and microwave did not work. Toilet backed up and smelled. 8 hours of fishing no bites and no fish. Captain said early if we had no luck in current location we would move. Set anchor and never moved. Only had bait for chunking. Trolling was not an option. A lot of money for nothing.

Extremely disappointed. Do not recommend Ninas Revenge to anyone who values their hard-earned money. 8 hour trip with 6 people, including my two sons, and returned with ZERO fish. They would have been happy with smaller fish rather than spending 12 hours and $2,000 for nothing.

Our experience on Nina's Revenge was amazing! Captain Rob and mates, Yanni and Doug, were extremely friendly, the boat was clean and well outfitted. We would definitely book another trip on Nina's Revenge! While arraigning the trip, Captain Rob responded quickly to all my preparation inquires making the whole process easy and painless. He also kept a close eye on the weather leading up to our scheduled date and ended up asking us if we could be flexible and move the trip up a day. We did, and it worked out great; we ended up with perfect weather and calm water. Also, as this was our first deep sea fishing experience, we asked tons of questions. The crew took the time to answer them all and would explain the what and why behind everything they did. While the morning started off a little slow, which can be the nature of fishing (that's why it's called "Fishing" not "Catching"), Captain Rob and crew never gave up and we ended up catching and releasing a white marlin that was a little too short to keep, but super fun to catch. We were also able to hook and reel in a 257 pound big eye tuna which put up a 5.5 hour fight. Wow, what an experience, one that we'll never forget and provides fish stories forever. The crew did everything possible to help ensure we landed the massive tuna in the boat. At one point, the fish took a turn under the boat and got caught up on the prop; Yanni jumped into the ocean to free the line - that's commitment to the mission! We definitely look forward to booking another trip on Nina's Revenge!
