I come here quite often with my bloodwork. Office staff is nice and knowledgably. Never a long wait time & they have you in and out quickly.

I have never experienced anything like this before. I got my annual check-up with a Doctor working at Frederick Health and that experience was really good and the Doctor was extremely personable and caring. The doctor advised me to get some bloodwork done through Frederick Health Laboratory, which I just called 5 minutes ago to inquire about cost. My insurance is horrible and my deductible is extremely high so I know whatever these bloodwork lab costs I will be paying out of pocket. Because of this I always call labs to get an idea of the cost of the bloodwork to see if it's something I can afford. I just called this place and the lady said there is no way of knowing the cost, "their billing charts are 2 years outdated". Obviously, if I went and got the bloodwork done their would be a way to come up with the cost and charge me, I do not understand why that can only be done after the fact and not before? This seems like a very shady practice to me. The lady over the phone literally told me to then go to a LabCorp facility, that they would be able to provide me with the cost before getting the bloodwork tests done. This is exactly what I will be doing.

I came last year for a lab and had a bad experience (desk staff). But I found a new great desk team and the experience was nice! :)
