My 12 day Tour with JD Morocco Tours was AMAZING, relaxing, invigorating and the best vacation ever starting from pick up at the Casablanca Airport throughout my 12 day vacation back to the Casablanca airport.
This was my 1st visit to Morocco and due to my experience, I will return. Picking up at a location where my only was of communication was English was "a breeze".
The driver picked me up at the airport with a sign to ensure that I knew who he was and which company I was supposed to go with. I immediately felt safe and at home in a new country
The driver and guide introduced themselves, put my bags in the vehicle and gave me a bottle of ice cold water. The ice cold water was important to mention cause Morocco is HOT ... but absolutely the coolest place to vacation
I spent a night in Casablanca, visit the largest mosque outside of Mecca, learned a bit more about people, culture, historical facts from my trusty tour guide and the driver before stopping at the most divine restaurant for a late lunch. TANGINE chicken with vegetables. the food melted in your mouth ... I can still taste it now. My guide and the driver choose the right place, it was a bit local with a touch of tourist visitors, Perfect introduction to Morocco, Casablanca and Tangine dishes.
Tangier was wonderful, we were able to see Spain, hear about the locals, how they lived, local issues, enjoy the season fruits, see the picturesque views while driving. The guide and driver were always answering questions and pointing out important facts of the area I was driving in. Their knowledge was endless and they had great anecdotes to throughout our 12 days together.
They were always available at any time during our trip
The attention to detail was reflected throughout the trip. every night our team reviewed our schedule for the following date, recommended times we should start driving to the following location in order to site see along the way, stop for lunch as well as any other unplanned stops
I loved the blue city --- everything was BLUE, it was my 1st introduction to a RIAD; amazing experience. Minimal electronics - perfect experience in this connected work.
JD Morocco tours mixed authentic, local, exquisite, 5 stars all in a 12 day out of this world experience.
The camel ride in the Sahara desert is one that I'd like to experience again, this time for a 2 days :-).
Shopping in Marrakech was ... Shopping in Marrakech was a beautiful experience, the guidance I received was ..negotiation is a good thing ... so that's what I did.
Then Beni Mellal .. MAGNIFCO ...
