I received a refund check from BGE for overpayment. I went to Walmart thinking I could cash the check and that would be it. However, my check was declined. Not sure why, as it was from a Gas Company. I never cash paper checks at all, especially at Walmart. So I did some research and tried Ace Cash Express. Within 10 minutes not only was I able to cash my check, I was able to open a savings debit account and added the money from the check directly onto the card. I hate walking around with a lot of cash on my person, so the Porte debit card was perfect! Thank Toni for helping me today!!!! You have saved me a few trips and headaches (sigh).
