Steeplechase Apartments

GHETTO!!! I had a tour today scheduled for 4:30 nobody was in the office when I arrived I just had gotten off work just to drive all the way there and no one to be in the office with the lights out smh tried calling numerous of times over the phone no answer! mind you I had a previous tour last week on Wednesday that was rescheduled for no apparent reason! I would not recommend this place to anyone thats currently searching for an apartment so unprofessional!

Do not move here unless you want to live in old, unkempt apartment. Luxury my a**. Your car tires & license plates will be stolen, the windows smashed and tires slashed when they see they can't easily be stolen. They won't hire security to patrol and make it any safer, oh but they can have a tow company make rounds all day and tow your car away. Apparently the leasing office was broken into recently and supplies for a party were stolen! So clearly lots of thieves in the area. I am also suspicious of all these 5 star reviews from people who don't even appear to live here, they just dealt with a positive leasing agent. Brings their average up when they deserve 2/5 stars, if that. Cannot wait to leave this dump. Edited to add: Some more reasons why you should avoid this place. The model they will show you if you tour is OF COURSE beautiful and perfect, but they will have you move into a unit that is dirty, has a messy paint job, has flooring that is STAINED from years of use, and just looks as if small details were overlooked when putting it together. The flooring is also uneven, we can feel it when walking around. Packages will be stolen from either outside your apartment or downstairs near the mail boxes where lazy delivery people will throw them. The office staff are nice, but don't seem to be concerned with doing their job TOO well. Maintenance tries, but they clearly don't know as much as they should as we had them look at our washing machine when we first moved in, and my boyfriend was the one who ended up figuring out and telling the tech how to fix the issue, while he scratched his head, clearly having no idea what to do.

I was planning on moving here, however, didn't because of things beyond my control. I put down a holding fee and was told it would be refunded. I called and finally spoke to someone after a month of reaching out, and was left on hold until the call timed out. Its finally being processed but it's only after I called their corporate office and now it's being sent. That was concerning. There was also a sketchy individual who was a resident who may have been a problem in the future I was going to overlook it but I probably shouldn't have. I talked to a friend today, who knows someone who lives there and their car was stolen from the parking lot. Anyhoo, I think I dodged a bullet!

Will has been great! Incredibly patient and extremely helpful and accommodating. He has been more than willing to work with me and walk me through a process if needed.
