The SERVPRO of Wheaton/Kensington was professional, friendly, responded fast, arrived on-time, and was extremely thorough in the mitigation of my water leak/damage. I highly recommend this team and would definitely use their services again.

UPDATE to ask why you've addressed ALL the other 1 star reviews and ignored mine? Is your plan to continue ignoring and denying the thousands of dollars worth of damage your incompetent employees caused? Are you going to send more "surprise" bills for services never rendered and then offer to call it even? I have plenty more photos I can add. IS THIS REALLY WHAT YOUR COMPANY STANDS FOR? Because I would be embarrassed. ......... Unfortunately there was a fire in our building last year - thankfully no one was hurt and I suffered only smoke damage. Every other (lucky) resident was packed out by SERVPRO of Rockville. Folks, if you value your possessions go with them and stay far far away from this crew. It took these guys 4 (!) days to pack out a 1 bedroom apartment (or at least, thats what they charged my insurance), and as all my neighbors moved back in I listened jealously to them talk about how they received their belongings back clean and in great condition. Nick and SERVPRO of Wheaton/Kensington treated me and mine like garbage. A few highlights: - everything was, without exception, filthy and had not been treated for smoke - many boxes of breakables half full with no padding, leading to broken bowls, plates, cups, vases, candle holders, and Kitchenaid ice cream attachment - maybe a quarter of the boxes were barely taped & falling apart top or bottom, and one had a big square cut out (?) - packed a full and leaking bottle of bleach loose in a box that then stained other items - apparently nobody told them lampshades need protection - threw an alabaster sculpture unprotected on top of several pieces of granite, cracking and damaging it all over - lost about quarter of the pieces of my bed frame (the ones that made it werent wrapped and have scratches and marks all over), and then claimed without documentation that I told them to throw them away (ok, they sent a picture they called documentation, but it didnt actually show any of the missing pieces) and REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME. - moved several pieces of hardwood furniture with no padding or wrap whatsoever, leaving scratches on all of them, along with deep gouges and a cracked corner of an heirloom cedar chest. A reputable refinisher quoted me $1200 to repair their damage to the chest, but they found some fly by night person (would you trust a company that claims years of experience but has no reviews anywhere & wont put the owners name on the website?) to quote less than half that and then STOPPED RESPONDING TO EMAIL. This company caused over $4000 of damage conservatively speaking, and Nick offered me $677.30, and as a good faith gesture to forgive the rest of a surprise(!) storage bill - that my insurance agent actually laughed out loud at the size of - in exchange for calling it even. I guess all those 5* reviews got their A team and I got a bunch of addled morons.

Avoid. I had a pipe break and flood my kitchen so I needed a dehumidifier and fans immediately. First off, they were several hours late, and secondly they never even brought the cord to plug in the dehumidifier. Because Ive never dealt with this before and because the fans were so loud, I just assumed the dehumidifier was working. Nope. It wasnt even plugged in. Servpro had literally one job: dry out my unit and they couldnt even deliver on the most basic of jobs. Worse, I was told by two of their staff that the invoice would not have the dehumidifier included, but when we received it, there it was: a line item for over $200 that was never even plugged in.
