The owner of Paradise reached out to you by phone and spoke to you several times during construction to get all of your concerns resolved and repairs completed to your satisfaction. Our supervisors and owners always visit jobs to oversee projects but all humans make mistakes and we are always willing to correct mistakes. Driveway unfortunately was your approved access before construction and all trucks and machines have to access project thru driveway. We appreciate your comments and feedback. We will take your constructive suggestions into consideration. Customer feedback whether it’s positive or negative gives us valuable information that we need to constantly improve our processes. We could not be more pleased with the service and product delivered by Paradise pools. From the first visit to water fill, we felt included in every step and final product turned out better than we could have imagined. In financing through nationwide lender, make sure you work with your paradise pool rep to include rough prices for other things that are critical to overall esthetics early in process. (Steps from one entertaining area to pool, landscape ect). Do this up front and paradise pool rep, ours was Bob, can help capture this up front so you are not taking cash out of pocket for some items. Not a fault of paradise but us as homeowners not fully understanding the lending contract.

I contracted with PP in 2021 to renovate my pool specifically to replace old plaster finish with upgraded pebble finish. My initial (and only) meeting with the owner, Bob, was pleasant. While his quote for the project was considerably higher than other companies I interviewed, I went with PP because it was one of the companies recommended by my pool service company (who no longer recommends companies for pool renovation or construction) and I trusted PP would fully meet my expectations. The renovation project was completed in the spring of 2022 and took over four days with three different sub-contractor units performing various activities. At no time during the project was a PP rep present at the site. A PP rep however visited the site after the project was completed. Shortly after project completion, I brought to the attention of PP uneven finish/discoloration in the deep end of the pool and a small bare spot near the shallow end of the pool. A PP rep inspected the area, but no follow-up was conducted. The pool was closed in November, 2022 and re-opened in April, 2023 with the same condition that I earlier brought to PPs attention. A PP rep along with a rep from the pebble finish company inspected my pool. I was told that it would require additional money to have the subcontractor return to remedy the situation which I find unacceptable since I, along with my pool service company, did everything in strict accordance with established pebble finish maintenance procedures. I then followed up with an email to the owner, Bob, informing him of the issue and requesting his assistance. Disappointingly, I did not receive a response. In sum, my main issues with PP are: (1) lack of oversight of subcontractors during renovation; (2) failure to follow-up on a renovation-related issue; and (3) communication failure on the part of the owner. On a positive note, Miranda was very helpful in scheduling work and communicating with me.
