I started the process of diagnosis in Texas for adult ADHD, 3 years ago. After moving to Maryland this past summer, I searched for a provider that took my insurance. Dr. Ojo and her office staff were so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. I feel like she took the time to review the data and explain the options with me for treatment. She would get more stars, but Google says 5 is the max. If you are looking for a kind person to see for your care, I recommend Dr. Ojo.

Dr Yeside Ojo went over and beyond to see that my mental illness needs were met. Taken the time to meet with me listening and sharing kindness.I could tell she wanted me to be open to speak my truth about my pain. She wanted to make sure I was getting the correct help.Not just giving me anything and then saying take this and see if it works 6 months later. She listened I truly feel hopeful. First impression I received was at the door. The receptionist was kind and a good listener as well. This place has given me hope Hope that I will get through the struggles in my mental health journey.

Id like to start by saying I would not recommend this practice to anyone interested in making serious progress on their mental health The issues are consistent and as follows: The medications I take I have to manually request a refill each time instead of them being on a scheduled refill. 2 of my medications have been a single dosage for 2 months so changing doses is not an excuse. Reception: reaching the practice is a nightmare. I had to call to get them to take money out of my account for the appointments and it would take multiple days of multiple voicemails to reach someone. I also needed a form signed that I provided a template for. It required my name, Drs name, and a date. This took 2 weeks to get back to me and the date was wrong even though I provided it directly At my last appointment I was told Id be fit in around my normal time. An appointment was never made and I had to call in to make one which wound up a week later and left ~3 weeks between appointments. Dr Ojo also tried pushing my appts back to 3 weeks instead of 2 when I wasnt showing progress. Lastly, I had my appt with Dr Ojo, informed her that I moved to another state. She explained she doesnt have privileges here and cannot see me, which I understand. However, she proceeded to leave/disconnect after informing me and never said goodbye or anything at all. She just left me in the virtual room alone. I rarely leave reviews, check my profile, but this offices is so poorly run that I want people to understand there are much much better options if youre serious about getting better. Edit: both doctor Ojo and reception reached out. Apparently Dr Ojo and I got disconnected. However reception insisted on justifying and making excuses rather than owning their faults. Unfortunate and still dont recommend.
