Best 2 Cleaners

DO NOT patronize BEST 2 CLEANERS, the dry cleaners at the Food Lion shopping center in Ferndale…they really try and clean you out! They are older husband and wife pair of scammers. Three weeks ago, I brought in a brand new three piece suit for a wedding I’m DJ’ing this coming Friday. I was measured for some slight alterations and wanted it to be dry cleaned. Here’s the part that pisses me off. They would not tell me how much it would cost. They asked for my telephone number and they would call. I stipulated for NOTHING to be done until they call me. They had no number, no card and they are not listed anywhere. It is obvious that English is their second language but they spoke perfectly enough and carried a conversation with a person ahead of me. I gave them up until to yesterday and still no call. I went in to see what was going on and she brought my items out that had not only been altered but also dry cleaned. She acted like she didn’t understand my questions and promptly handed me a bill for $74. No comment, no apology, not even a thank you. I let her know I would never return and that I only came there to help a local business that was close to my home. As a minority business owner myself, I try and patronize local businesses but this has no excuse.
