Lived here for two years till January of last year. Worst place I've ever lived. Multiple men on the maintenance staff- walked in my families apartment without notice, without knocking etc. they took it upon themselves to get our home keys/ master key from the leasing office to enter when they felt so inclined to. Dont get me started on the scheme mo & the old leasing agent had going on their with the car towing company!!! Mo would walk around the neighborhood finding cars double parked with hazards on - unloading groceries/ taking trash out etc, called the tow man that sat outside the neighborhood to come tow cars, because hed get apart of the profit of every car towed. My families car had been illegally towed 2 different times. We had to threaten legal action for them to get our car released at no charge. Oh you want to know what else this complex has ? A MAJOR roach infestation. They bomb your apartment so when you first move in it doesnt appear so, then you start seeing them here & there till it becomes an infestation. Oh and dont believe their whole gimmick on getting pest control to spray your apartment regularly.ours was sprayed maybe 3 times at most in over 2 years.shoutout to turtle & the young gentleman with the short dreadsthose are the only two maintenance workers in their who did their jobs!!!! Lets not forget when me and my mother went to the leasing office to express our concern due to the fact the maintenance man mo walked into our apartment numerous of times when no adult was present, and it was my younger teen siblings & the two youngest (elementary age) alone at home. Without notice, no knocking just walked in. MULTIPLE TIMES. mind you we got this apartment with the help of the government, because we were a family who needed help getting away from DV. Which the leasing office knew.so when we brought it up to the manager she kicked us out of her office. Said the meeting was over.and from then on the non stop harassment started. Shed show up at the door without notice, trying to start arguments, saying she needed to do inspections etc. without NO NOTICE. Which violated our leasing agreement and she proceeded to say she didnt have to follow those ruleswhich we got on video & reported to the county along with everything else. Long story short i could tell you a million stories.bottom line is, if you care about yourself & your family. Please dont EVER rent from here.

This place is wonderful, just a few paths away from black hills park, so peaceful and quiet, reminds me of Virginia with all the forest and wildlife, the maintenance people are great the community is nice, the office people are very helpful.

They must be paying people to leave good reviews. This was the worst experience of my life living here at this awful place. The setting is the one and only reason this place deserves one star. One person mentioned the playground in the neighborhood i almost spit out my coffee. What playground? Everything is outdated and old. Its overgrown and not safe for kids. From some of the other comments it seems they may have overhauled the administration maybe even new management. But let me tell you my kids and I lived here and I am in counseling for the trauma we endured while living here. All of our family belongings and pictures and clothing, baby clothes, children artwork, everything was put out after we were evicted and neighbors were allowed to pick through our family memories and take as they wished. I will always have the terrible memories of this place and how they destroyed my family and I over the course of time we lived here. We have never received an apology or anything it was really horrific. Not to mention i was assaulted on the trail behind the property and while I was talking to the police the leasing manager was calling me asking for rent that had already been paid. This is wrong! Stop hiring people who hate people to work to assist people with their housing needs. I am still recovering and receiving a bill even after I received pandemic assistance and our rent was paid I still have this hanging over me on my credit because the owners live in Florida and they could care less how their property is run here in Germantown Maryland. I have reported them to BBB and will continue to tell others of my familys experience here. Do yourself a favor and if at all possible stay away I know affordable housing is an issue here but unless you want to live with roaches and incorrect billing, pests and rodents, outdated appliances and leaking ceilings and broken a/c and heating just look elsewhere.
