Pediatric and Adolescent Care, P.A.

I found this provider's number on my insurance website. When I called to make an appointment, I was given a date for my child. As soon as they learned we had insurance through the State, they said they couldn't see my child. They stated they are taking new patients, but not new patients with State insurance. Icky... especially that they have availability but are turning kids away. Either accept the insurance or don't and update your information with the carrier so I don't waste my time.

Weve been taking our 2 kids here for years. Recently over the past 4 months our 2 children have been suffering from separate but on-going, consistent issues that required Numerous visits to this practice. Weve had good experiences in the past with Dr. Taylor but each of the recent visits have been really disappointing leaving with more questions than answers. He has completely brushed off the concerns weve had and the symptoms our children are having. Weve now consulted with other doctors outside of this practice where they have shown far more concern and come up with different and more serious diagnosis that Dr Taylor and staff never bothered to even consider. I dont know if Dr Taylor thought we, as parents, were over reacting. I can assure you we were not and very patient. But both of us knew things were not right and trusted our intuition as parents. This has been confirmed now by other doctors. I dont know what might have changed with Dr Taylor as our experiences in the past have been fantastic. Through our recent interactions, we do not feel comfortable continuing with this practice and will be moving to a new pediatrician. I would suggest using caution with this practice and never put your intuition as a parent aside.

Both of my kids (19 and 16) have been patients here since birth. Ive had nothing but excellent experiences, even through a couple of scary health situations. For example, Dr. Taylor immediately identified a strange rash on my sons abdomen when he was little as Lymes (after two other practitioners had looked at it). I really appreciated that they reached out to their colleagues to troubleshoot as opposed to making their best guess, shrugging, and sending us away with a useless prescription. Because of this team approach, my son was diagnosed early and got the antibiotics he needed. Dr. Taylor also helped my son through a scary neurological issue last year, which turned out to be Guillain Barre syndrome. He called us regularly to see how he was doing, and helped to keep me calm, too! All of our interactions with the other doctors has been amazing, tooespecially Dr. Rennert. Highly recommend this practice.
