This Public Service memorial arose on Maps so we drove by at sunset to explore it. It's a beautifully designed tribute to first responders who lost their lives in service to others. Set by the lake, it's a restful meditative spot with many inscriptions and names of persons who were killed in the line of duty. A large parking lot allows you to walk a short way to it. It's by the old Bureau of Standards, now Montgomery County government offices.
