I had an appointment with Dr. Brent Tabor to discuss a toenail fungal infection. It was determined that I did have the infection based on a visual examination. I agreed and paid ($1,000) for the laser nail treatment (2 treatments) to help combat the fungus. I had the first treatment that same day. A few weeks later I receive $661 lab bill from a facility associated with this office. The doctor had ordered a fungal culture test. I was not made aware of any test being needed. The doctor had already confirmed the fungal diagnosis and I had started the treatment that same day. When I called the office to ask about the test, I was told it was standard practice for the office. I struggle to understand why a test was necessary after the doctor began the laser treatment. Especially since the test cost around 66% of the treatment. My treatment did not change after the test. Once I received the second laser treatment, they asked if I wanted to schedule anymore. I refused.I wanted to share my experience so anyone wanting to get the laser nail treatment understood the hidden cost ($661 lab test).

I went today for Surgery over the phone I was told to show my Covid test when I arrived got there to do so and was told to email it ,my daughter was then told when everything was over to pull up to put me in the backseat of the car I explained I was paralyzed on my left side and let alone 5'11 I will not fit, went in the back to use the bathroom my daughter followed me ,and as I was about to go in the room it was told my daughter could not come in which was understandable, she said she understands she was just making sure I was secure before going to the front after being told the nurse came 3x's to say it again after my daughter spoke to Dr.Tabor about why she was waiting in the process I am trying to sit down and take my shoes off on this table while trying to hold my balance because again my entire left side is paralyzed in the process my pants legs hooks to the chair but there concern is my daughter watching seeing I was stuck after the last time of explaining that she was still they because they were not paying attention that I had no use of my left side , I got fed up and said I was leaving and asked for my money back ,Dr.Tabor then proceed to say we don't keep cash here , I told him you didn't do the procedure so I need my money now ,very bad experience and service I would not recommend this place to anyone

I'd like to begin by saying that I was extremely disappointed with this practice. Dr. Tabor was not particularly friendly or warm toward me. He didn't take the time to make me feel at ease, especially when he was feeling around my foot for the source of the problem I was experiencing. My main issue, however, is the significant increase in the cost of the medical boot I was prescribed. He charged my insurance $300 for a boot that is currently selling for $60 on two different websites. That disgusted me tremendously! I would have gotten the same exact medical boot elsewhere if I had known. I believe it is extremely malicious to try to get one over on your clients, especially when they are already dealing with an injury. To be honest, I believe it should be illegal for these businesses to upcharge customers in this manner solely for the purpose of making a profit. I would advise you to take your business elsewhere.
