Emily is without a doubt the best realtor I ever had. I have bought and sold many homes over the last 30 years. She treated me like family, helping me with getting the right contractors to spruce up my home and even purchased and delivered some appliances for me while I was out of town and couldn't do it myself. She drove 30 minutes each way numerous times to vacuum,and turn the lights on to make sure my property showed beautifully. I sold my house quickly and for more than expected. Im a buyer. I placed an offer on a property that Emily listed for sale. My realtor placed an offer on the home. Very beautiful and well staged. Emily contacted my realtor four days after receiving my offer to negotiate a counter offer. I agreed to the terms that she represented as the final adjustments to the deal needed to ratify the purchase agreement. Had the purchase agreement amended, signed it and got it to her in under 30 minutes. Emily expressed congratulations on coming to an agreement on the deal that evening during the phone call where negotiations came to a close. 9:00AM the following day Emily sends a text backing out of the deal talking about another offer is coming in. This came to us a full day after terms where met, agreement amended with final seller revisions, document signed by buyer waiting for the seller to sign. To be clear at the time of the text the following day an offer was in fact not yet received. Through the entire process she was rarely reachable. She never once returned a text or phone call. I personally feel this entire experience was very much unprofessional, unethical and biased against Veterans. If a transparent approach and proactive communication was leveraged throughout the process on the Compass side of this deal a different outcome would have been realized.
