Walker & Son's Plumbing

Second time since October that we had to call Walker and Sons for the new house. Sean was the greatest both times. Pricing is competitive and they worked with our schedule. We don't want to be repeat customers but we won't hesitate to call Walker when something goes wrong.

They charged us a "Leak Detection Fee" to come out to assess our problem which was supposed to be taken out of our final repair bill. During that assessment, they damaged some of our fixtures. It took additionally emailing them before they gave me a vague estimate to fix our problem and I asked if they could also fix the damaged fixtures. They replied saying the fix seemed like it would actually be more complicated and that they would put together another estimate for the repair. Even though they sent emails apologizing that they hadn't contacted us sooner, they just ghosted us and never gave us another estimate. So we basically paid them to come damage our fixtures and still have the issue we started with. I even waited some time to make this review hoping they would get back to us, but they haven't even tried. So we will find another plumber and be out the "leak detection fee".

I have nothing negative to say. Communication was via text and email which I loved. As someone who works in business management I instantly ran there labor rates in comparison to median market value and they were in line. Scored well with the BBB, and had positive review's amongst my neighbors and peers. They communicated very well on the day of service providing me with more than enough time to properly prepare for their arrival. I paid for a garbage disposal replacement but since they were not able to complete the repair, they charged only a diagnostic fee and refunded the rest. Im a single mom, and Ive dealt with my fair share of creepy repair techs. They were very respectful and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. They even wore mask and shoe covers. I would strongly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

The guys did a great job installing my toilet and hauling the old one away. They were very kind and respectful of my home as well.
