Months before my house hunting journey began in earnest, I observed Marissa Merrick of EB Homes in action. After an interstate relocation landed me in an ephemeral housing situation, I visited several open houses independently just to get a better picture of the unprecedented COVID housing market. During one afternoon, I was eager to check out an open house in an ideal location. When I did, Marissa emerged in full view - she was proactively sharing information with those entering the property and promptly collecting feedback data (with clipboard and surveys in hand) from those leaving. And, there were many people! Despite the crowd, Marissas zeal was palpable and real estate expertise demonstrable. Fast forward, the deep impression Marissa made served as impetus for reaching out to her when my family and I were finally ready for professional support! This time, I had skates on! The pressure I applied given my incredibly short time frame and the myriad of questions asked as a first time homebuyer in a new state did not seem to throw Marissa off guard. At any time of day, literally, she was ready to direct the process, lend support, adapt to circumstances, pull in resources, allay concerns, negotiate wants/needs, and champion my familys overall success in the home buying process. On Thanksgiving Day, a month after moving into our new home, I recalled Marissas significant impact on my life. My family and I remain so grateful for her commitment to helping us achieve our goal of homeownership and, in a few months, to boot!

I cannot recommend EB Homes enough! Elaina and her team helped sell our house and were by our side every step of the way. Elaina was always a text away to answer any questions we had, make helpful suggestions, and ensure that we understood the whole process. Selling a home is an overwhelming experience but EB Homes made it extremely manageable and as stress free as possible. My husband and I will definitely be using EB Homes in the future!

I worked with Marissa both to buy a house and sell my current home. She was patient, listened to my requests and worked with me to find the right place. Once I choose a home she went above and beyond to determine what to offer and which contingencies were worth pursuing. Even in a competitive market I was able to obtain the house I wanted. I am very happy in my new home. Marissa even gifted me with a welcome home gift including thoughtful items for my pets, who were huge factors in choosing a home that fit needs for me and my animals. She and Elaina also worked on preparing and showing my old house to get the best offer. I really appreciate everything they did to help with my big transition!
