Dr. Soudan was very thorough in our first appointment, however, I was told I had the first appointment of the day, and they were already nearly 2 hours behind schedule. He ordered an MRI and the results were very serious, which I figured out on my own, reading the report from Advanced Radiology. When I called the office multiple times, I could not reach the doctor, and eventually received advice from my PCP to go to the ER. I spent a week in the hospital, and when I went for my follow-up visit, I was only offered a steroid injection or opioids. The reason I went to Dr. Soudan in the first place was because the website said there were many other options, including PRP, but the nurse said they don't offer them and they don't know which offices do. I was very disappointed because I've already spent years unsuccessfully doing steroid injections and opioids and wanted to try something different. They couldn't even tell me whether I was a good candidate for PRP. Finally, I was already at my out of pocket maximum for the year, but had paid the copays for both appointments before I realized this (last November). I've now called the company who manages their billing 8 times over the past FOUR months, attempting to get refunded for my overpayment, and to date, nothing has been sent. I highly recommend not using National Spine and Pain Center. I've had much better luck receiving treatment at Hopkins. Edit: I received a refund check a week after posting this review. Unfortunately, posting a critical review is often the only way I've been able to make progress with several providers.

The Doctor stopped my pain meds and I've been on pain medication since 2019. And stopped it cold turkey.
