Yong Sung Lee Hapmudo Martial Arts Studio has been such a blessing in our lives. First and foremost, my five year old son thoroughly enjoys attending the classes. The instructors make it fun while instilling discipline at the same time. They are so encouraging and they go above and beyond to make sure they are building kids confidence. We absolutely love the teaching style! Our son has learned so much already and these are lessons he can take with him forever. Secondly, everyone has welcomed us with open arms. Since day one, they made us feel like family and we appreciate the warm family atmosphere. We have experienced nothing but love and kindness from the staff and other families here. Finally, Ill say if you are thinking about taking classes, please do. The kids love it, parents love it, and you wont be disappointed. Our community needs more for our kids and we are so thankful to have found Yong Sung Lee Martial Arts Studio.

This was the second martial arts studio we tried with my son, and Im so glad we found out! Master Dodd has been an amazing influence on my son. He is the perfect blend of disciplined and encouraging. ALL the kids listen in class. If you go here is what you can expect: 1. For new students, no belt classes are from 7:30-8:15 Tues and Thurs. Your child will take 2 classes then discuss if its the right fit. 2. There are adult classes here as well. 3. There are no photos/ videos allowed in the dojo. Everyone is treated with great respect while inside. Its like entering a different world. 4. You can either watch a class quietly from inside the dojo or from a screen in the waiting room. 5. There are a few other sister dojos for Hapmudo and these locations are involved with friendly annual tournaments, affording students a chance to be challenged, spar, or show off their skills. Many of the teachers here were former students; a testament to the kind of training they received. We love this school!!!
