Dr. Thomaides assistant, Janice and the other beautiful brown skin female was so awesome in their care for me. I went for a would check and to get the staples removed from the procedure I had on March 14, 2024.It was Painless and quick. I absolutely love Dr. Thomaides and his team of assistants.

On the night of February 3rd, 2024, my daughter drove me to the emergency room of Southern Maryland Hospital. My hands and my feet appeared to be deteriorating. Because the cause could not be determined readily, l was kept overnight. At 3 a.m. that same night, l got out of the hospital bed to putter, and l went back to bed at 6 a.m. At 8 a.m., my heart rate went to zero for 10 seconds. I was told that the nursing staff jostled me back into a beating heart. I thanked them in a note, which requested their specific names so that l may thank them again. On February 8, 2024, the doctors inserted a pacemaker in my chest to which l consented and for which l am grateful. On February 14, 2024, l was able to celebrate my birthday. During my subsequent visit in late March, 2024, to the Heart and Vascular Department of Southern Maryland Hospital, the medical professionals and staff were competent, experienced and friendly. They were excellent at setting me at ease and at explaining the technicalities of my medical condition.
