I ordered an order from Doordash for Balloons and Party Supplies. I ordered Balloons and then I did not see any options for inflation. I called this store and spoke to one of their representatives to ask them if I can add the inflation of the balloons to my order. She said that since I ordered on Doordash there was nothing she could do. She said they have inflation on their website. I went on the website as fast as I could and paid for the inflation and bought another pack of balloons. I again asked if I pay for the inflation on their website could they inflate the balloons for me because I was trying to surprise my daughter tonight and I was stuck at work. The representative of party city continued to stay on the line with me for 20 minutes explaining that she could not do help me because her manage said they could not inflate the balloons. She then said that I could talk to her manager and put me on hold when I could not understand why should not help me. I am on hold for 6 minutes so 26 minutes have passed where they are saying they can't help me. And time is passing and no one cares that there is a customer who needs something is asking for a service that they provide. I get on the phone with the manager and she explained that she can't help me because the order I placed will be fulfilled tomorrow again and I would be getting free inflation. I give her the order number and ask her if she can inflate my balloons in my Doordash Order and then check off the the order from tomorrow is fulfilled because I have paid for the inflation online. Now the representative says their manager is not there and I can talk to them tomorrow. I usually do not write reviews but it is really disappointing when you go to a Party City Store and they are supposed to help you to have family moments that you can remember. But now I will remember a 20 minute conversations where someone could not help me. Do better because everyone wants that when it comes to our families and events that the people who are providing the service actually care when it is for someone that is not their family. I kept getting told that I was trying to get free inflation when I had already paid for it and my entire call was to try to pay for inflation. So my customer sevice experience here on Friday, 2/2/2024 at 8:30 p.m. with talking to someone for a total of 30 minutes was very disappointing. DO BETTER because in that 30 minutes you could have made someone really grateful that you cared and they would be coming back for other events to your store. Now I think I will avoid this location because the customer service there does not really does not care about the customer.
