When my rent payment had a glitch, I reached out to Divine with a lot of questions. She contacted me quickly and coordinated with all of the people who needed to approve this: the owner, the finance team, and maintenance. I was worried about my payment going through, and Divine put my mind at ease. She was quick, thorough, polite, and knowledgeable, and she solved my problem. What a pleasure to work with Poplar! They manage the unit above mine. Last summer their AC started leaking into my living room causing over $5000 in damages that they have yet to pay me. If your thinking about renting one of their homes please know that the AC unit was in disrepair due to age and neglect and they yet to replace the unit. The previous tenant were also blamed for the issue even though multiple reports were made by multiple parties. I olan on taking them to court if any damages happen in the future or if they fail to reimburse me for the damages their property has caused.

Communication with this company is terrible. My wife and I were happily enjoying the services provided by Silver River until they were bought out before our former tenant's lease expired. The former tenant moved out and left the property in an absolutely appalling state based on the inspection report. Despite this, we cannot get an answer from Poplar on whether or not the former tenant will be responsible for even some of the damages they left behind. My wife and I have rented several times in the past and have never left a property in such a state. Poplar replies to reviews and requests customers reach out via email to have their issue "expedited," however I've had ticket number is 01719148 waiting for weeks now with not a peep from Poplar. I submitted via their online portal. My wife has sent multiple emails, and I reached out to their customer satisfaction team to no avail. The only time we've spoken to a human being is when they called us about repair orders. If this keeps up, we'll be submitting a report to the BBB, and seeking property management services elsewhere.
