Scam!!!Scam !! Scam!!! Not only did they over charge me for a procedure!! I had to go through my insurance company in order for them to send me a check !! Then they tried to charge me a 35 dollar fee to cut me a check !! Mind u it was their mistake !! They waived the fee but my mouth is still hurting and now they want to charge me all over again!! The lady that answer the phone is rude and condescending!! Like she honestly gives me anxiety!! When I call !! Any way I will have to go to another dentist and spend and additional 2000 dollars besides the 1000 dollars I already spent with them !! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE U WILL REGRET IT !!!!

Marc Geballa DDS dental practice is a scam, I don't recommend going to this dentist, they try to rip-off they're patience. I went to his office for him to look at a root canal, it took him least then two mins and he did nothing for my tooth, told me I had to get my tooth extracted. Also, he didn't even give me any treatment (antibiotic or penicillin) knowing I had an abscess on my tooth after the visit my tooth got worst in a couple of days. He sent me a bill for over 200 dollars, for less than a 5 mins visit. I recommend if your dentist send you to this dentist as ask for another referral. I call the office and receptionist did not try to discuss my concerns (she said, " This is our prices".) Be aware of scamming dentist office like this that target patience to make money for doing nothing.

Was referred to Dr. Geballa for a root canal. I visited his office for a consult in May 2023. Did a primary consult, took some bitewing x-rays, and he confirmed that I needed one. I opted not to get the root canal that day as the tooth was not in critical pain and I did not have the upfront funds. I revisited the idea of a root canal in Nov 2023, and his office insisted that I needed to book another consultation in order to schedule a root canal. His reason was that it had been three months since the first consult, so they needed to do another one to see if anything had changed. If the tooth was already to the point that it needs a root canal, why do I need another consultation? Seeing that I needed to get the procedure done, I scheduled and went to the 2nd 'consultation'. It is a 45 min drive for me, and it took all of 4 mins. He touched the tooth with his prodding tool, and said 'yep, you still need a root canal'. Of course insurance only covers one consult per lifetime, so I'm stuck with the out of pocket cost for the unnecessary second consult. Waste of time and wholly unnecessary billing given the state of the tooth. Two stars are strictly for his dental assistants who were helpful and kind. It seems many of the negative reviews echo the same sentiment of superfluous charges. I will be going to another dental provider who is closer and doesn't nickel and dime their patients for orthodontic services. TLDR: Dr. Geballa routinely overcharges patients for unnecessary services. Many of the negative reviews seem to echo the same sentiment. Although his technical work may be solid, he needs to be more customer-centric, especially as it concerns billing and scheduling practices.

I appreciate the feed back, I have been in Practice for over 30 years in the area, that speaks for itself for reputations, excellent treatment. As to financial issues, we don't discuss these in any media for privacy. You send the office a letter with your explanation / understanding and we can review with the company that does all insurance processing and provide you with account details as well as the insurance explanation documentation As to the scheduling coordinator that spoke with you, it is not to be discussed what you told her..........

Please refer to the copy of the explanation of benefits that your insurance carrier has sent you. As participating providers , we comply with the terms ( coverage, fees, non covered procedures.. ) and expect the patient to comply also.As to the details of the consult , radiographs, clinical exam, finding ... The practice doesn't discuss these issues on social media,( we comply with privacy ) you can always call the office and ask to speak with Dr. Geballa. hope this addressed your issues.

Thank you for your feedback. let's start with the need of another consult .Professionally , after several months we haven't seen a patient, we have to do another consult, we can't take your word for it as the bottom line , i have to do another updated diagnosis , that's the professional obligation, decay can go deep and tooth may need extracted or part of it cracked, and can not be fixed with a crown or filling, therefore, a root canal is not recommended, since the tooth requires pulling it.. There is no one week, that we didn't see several situations like yours, specially after the pandemic and patients delayed treatments understandably, Many thanks us to be honest and upfront and turning down doing a root canals on teeth with poor prognosis. As to your insurance limitations, it is your policy with the insurance and i have no say or power to change the terms of our contract. Please refer to Human resource in your place of employment. As to over charging, people can say whatever they believe, but the bottom line is when the insurance send the explanation of benefits , it is very evident what the copay is / patient responsibility and what insurance is willing to pay per patient contract .We do keep on file all documents and patients can certainly request a copy of it, and we do send it to them at no charge. Also the insurance carrier should have send them a copy. If patient interpret it differently than what is written, this is their personal opinion.i hope i covered the issues , if you have further questions , please call the office and leave your questions with the staff, they will relay the message to me.one last note, when you go to another dentist, for any root canal, it is not an Orthodontist, it is Endodontist. please review your comment above.
