I had a terrible experience at this psychotherapy practice. I actually saw Mr. Rathbone himself and participated in a DBT skills group. Hands down the worst individual and group theory I have ever had. Despite my cancelling all my future appointments and politely explaining to Mr. Rathbone that I felt disrespected and did not feel safe emotionally in the DBT group, he desperately pleaded with me to just see him for one last appointment so that he can learn what he did wrong. He even offered this last session at no cost to me, providing that I truly chose not to continue in therapy with him after the session. Honestly, I could not be bothered to drive all the way out to Rockville just to help appease Mr. Rathbones SUPER SIZED EGO. No thank you.
