This place is a gem!  We moved to the neighborhood recently and toured a great number of schools before deciding on BMS. It's a very special place with caring certified Montessori teachers, French, art, and music classes, bright open classrooms with bonus rec room, stage, breakout rooms, a separate nap room. Our daughter LOVES going every day and the teachers do a wonderful job of nurturing her curiosity, confidence, and independence. The flexible hours and aftercare enrichment activities are helpful if you're juggling other kids' schedules and work. We've been so impressed and are so glad we happened upon this magical place!

It is sad that school has some policies which are INHUMAN. It has been bone chilling cold, with a temperature of -10. However, school has a policy that if temperature (without any regard for wind chill, which this week was almost -10 or -5 some days) is above 32F then all kids will be taken outside to play. This is so inhuman. Adults cannot stand outside for 5 minutes because it has been bone chilling cold (Temperature was 33F, windchill factor was -10, so effective temperature was 23F). Yet, the school forced kids to go outside and play for 1/2 hour. This is so ridiculous. I hope more parents will see this review and hopefully ask the school to change its policy.
