She has a rare combination of skills: plantswoman, a very creative designer, a good listener, an architectural eye, very caring of the view of the garden from inside, she is resourceful and an introducer of color you didn't think you wanted but end up liking! London Landscapes was absolutely wonderful to work with. Barbara is a genius at her craft, creating beautiful landscapes that were very customized for what we were looking for and maximized the use of our space. Our garden looks spectacular from so many different vantage points and the thoughtful plant and hardscape choices make for a garden that is a splendor for all of the senses. I have worked with Barbara on 2 gardens over almost 15 years and they only get better with time. She is pleasant and fair, and her long, rich relationships in the industry bring an expansive team to the table. Highly recommend.

Barbara does amazing work. She selected a perfect array of plants and colors so that it looks wonderful year round. Since she redid our front yard, we have had multiple neighbors come to us and compliment us on our landscaping. I would 100% recommend to anyone.

London Landscapes has been our landscape architect for 22 years at our home in Chevy Chase. They have designed our property through multiple phases, gradually turning a neglected lot into a showpiece featured on garden tours. They did a wonderful job with the gardens but also with terraces, patios, planting beds, a pergola and a fish pond. They are very responsive and also quite cost-effective compared to bigger outfits.
