Ive gone blonde, had balayage, bleached and colored it ginger red, and not once has my hair been left damaged. I feel like I have a full education on hair care having learned from her all these years! I have type 3 hair texture and she knows what to do no matter if its curly or straight. The best Hair stylist in the area. Ive been seeing Hiwot since 2016 for hair coloring treatments and natural hair cut styles and she has never failed to make me look my best. She is very professional and I love that she works on all textures for hair and most importantly cares about the health of your hair first! Shes vocal about how to do the least amount of damage to your hair when coloring it and when cutting natural hair does so in it natural state and which allows you to see what the cut will look like in its natural state. She never cuts too much and always works her way to make sure she achieves the style YOU want. Her prices are reasonable and for me as someone who has tried to cut corner when it comes to hair coloring and styling cuts its worth the professional expertise and experience. She stays busy so book her early!

Hiwot at Symmetry Salon in Bethesda is THE best! Her blowouts and cuts are amazing. My daughter arrived with a frizzy mess and left with this silky blowout and cut.
