This is the worst haircut I've ever received in my life. I came in yesterday asking for a bang trim and a half inch off the rest of my hair. Simple request. I was told over the phone I would be working with "Master Stylist" Mei. I was overjoyed as I have not had a haircut in over 3 years. As I was showing Mei pictures of what I wanted done to my hair (I was considering a slight V cut) and she immediately told me she would need to trim certain parts of my hair up to my SHOULDERS to achieve the result. I told her absolutely not. So we compromised on a straight across cut. For bangs, I told her I wanted my bangs straight across and to be very even, and I also wanted the sectioning of the bangs to be fixed since I thought one side of my bangs had more hair than the other half. As she's sectioning it, I couldn't see much in the mirror and over the comb, so I trusted her judgment on how the sectioning looked. She crudely cut them and sent me to get washed. After my wash, she "fixed them up." She had me turned all way to the side for most of it, and I had my eyes closed to protect them from the shears. Once again, I was told Mei was a "master stylist" and she herself told me she had been doing this for 20 years. The bangs i walked out of the chair with are the most ridiculous bangs I have ever witnessed in my life. She left pieces longer than others, and the section itself starts in the MIDDLE of my head. She also trimmed hair on the actual side of my head, hairs that are not even connected to my forehead. The sides of my head look like a mans haircut. The bangs look like a giant bowl cut. I am so incredibly embarrassed. The rest of my hair is also cut so crudely I can't even bare to look at it. One side is longer than the other, she cut way more than half an inch off. I had such beautiful long hair. Not only that, but she insisted upon a blow dry after I informed her that my hair will puff up if she's not careful. After I left, my hair was still soaking wet at the back of my head and I looked like I had just been electrocuted. I was so upset I walked back to the salon to ask for a refund. I was told, by Mei herself, that this was my fault. She said quote "Bangs always look like that, you should have told me if you wear them a special way." After pointing out all of the straggling long pieces she left me with, she offered to cut them off or I could get a free bang trim. Why would I ever let this stylist near my hair again? I've tried calling the business multiple times now and it seems they don't like to answer the phone to anyone. My hair falls into a hideous, botched V shape when I lean my head forward. NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!

I have only had great experiences at this Bubbles location. Customer service is great, the employees appear to have a healthy rapport with each other and seem genuinely happy to work there.
Fana is my go-to hairstylist for hair cuts and color. She is wonderful and experienced, and I plan on returning.
