Tom Harvey is aware of abuse that takes place in the centers that he refers kids and continues to send children there. I was referred to Elevations RTC by Tom in 2018 after wilderness (where he also referred me). I agreed to go because I needed the help. The abuse I witnessed/experienced still keeps me up at night. There were at least six other students that were referred there by him of his practice. Another one of his students and I requested a meeting with home when he visited to bring up our concerns. He both acknowledged it and ignored the blatant abuse that was happening and continued to refer more children to that center. Elevations now has a lead therapist indicted for failure to report abuse and a lawsuit for abuse against multiple students. Please do not take their advice about residential treatment centers. Educational Consultants are notorious for being in the RTCs pockets and ignoring abuse for profit. Please be aware and look elsewhere for a consultation.
