The fan on my 2015 Lenovo ThinkPad E550 had been failing. I had previously purchased the part that needed to be replaced. Upon consulting with a number of computer repair shops who could not do it because the part needed to be soldered to the motherboard and that they could not do it and received quotes ranging from $175 - $300 from shops that could do the repair.
I then called BoonPC. The tech (I'm very sorry that I did not get his name) told me that he not only could do the repair in less than a day, but that it would cost me nearly $100 less than what other firms were charging.
My laptop is back up and running thanks to BoonPC!
