Solaire 7077 Woodmont

Based on past experiences with Property Managers, I was not expecting very much from the new manager. But to my surprise, it has been nothing but pleasant interactions with Monique, the new Property Manager! She is not just professional in what she does best, but she really cares about the residents and tries to do her best to make things work. There is much more to be done at Solaire to bring it back to the family feeling it once was, but I strongly feel with Monique on board, were headed in the right direction. A big shout out to Edwin, the Maintenance Manager!

We have lived here for 10 months. I do not suggest this to everyone due to the following reasons: The unit was so crowded with noise created by heating and cooling systems. The manager of an apartment does not care about the people living in the apartment. Also, they are not responsible for everything, including responding to your inquiry, respecting you as a person living here, and many other things. Also, they are so unprofessional when behaving with you. The apartment has lots of noisy sounds, which annoyed my wife and me to have some rest, specifically during the early morning. Overall, it was not worth it for us to live there, as we lived in downtown Bethesda!

Change takes time. 7077 is in a transitionary phase. We lost a really great team member, who we will all miss; but we have welcomed a few new team members- Tania & Reena, who are doing great and making every effort to ensure that residents are satisfied. We lost a lackluster property manager, but gained an efficient, dedicated replacement - Monique. There's plenty to be addressed to bring back the "sparkle", but Monique and team are working hard to get us back on track. All in all, Solaire 7077, offers a top notch location ( nearby are Target, CVS, Anthropologie, Tatte, LaDuree, Apple, Aveda and so much more!) close proximity to public transit, great REC room etc. Moreover, the residents and team create lasting and meaningful relationships.

Ive been a resident almost two years. As other reviews mention, we went through a rocky period this past winter, as much of the entire team left and needed to be replaced. Since the spring, though, things have improved. The new manager and her team engage with the tenants, address our concerns, and keep us informed of whats going on - not just in the building but around the area. I *love* the new energy.
