I'm James, and I'm currently in 8th grade at Perry Hall. It's terrible. Some teachers in the school are quite aggressive, and expect us, the students, to be able to learn something when all they're doing is comparing us to their "better classes" and saying how we're so "difficult". How can we learn if nobody's teaching? Also, the grading schedule is pure booty cheeks; Teachers say (and sometimes GUARANTEE) that all assignments from *insert time frame* will be graded by the weekend. Now, I'm not saying all the teachers in the school do this, but from 3 years of attending this school, and what my friends have been telling me, most do. It's unacceptable Then they have the audacity to notify our parents, or try and sneak diss in class about missing work, but they know that it's not missing - they haven't graded it yet. They wait until the very last few weeks of the quarter, the MOST STRESSFUL times in the school year, because people are turning in work, then decide to grade the work that was done weeks and WEEKS ago, and now our most recent classwork and test and quizzes aren't graded until the next quarter, or don't even affect the current quarter's final grade. It's ridiculous...I DEFINITELY DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, RECOMMEND SENDING YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL WHATSOEVER.
