        I was very disappointed in mass at Holy Cross. I grew up in south Baltimore and attended Holy Cross throughout my entire childhood. I love the church and I am truly saddened to see the condition of the church. I am also beyond disappointed in the Mass itself. I will never understand why the choir is on the alter other than the obvious reason of they want everyone looking at them instead of just paying attention to the celebration of Mass. They should move the piano and the choir back up in the choir box and use the organ. It reminded me of those super big Protestant non denominational tv churches. Very off putting to say the least! The church was barely decorated for Christmas and the celebration of Jesus birthday. Very sad.
